History
Lanesville Christian Church was born in the summer of 2003 as
“New Life Christian Church”, and what began as a desire of 5 families to establish a nondenominational, community church in Lanesville quickly grew to 60 people the first few weeks. Within 2 years our attendance doubled and we broke ground on our current building at 8090 Tandy Rd in Lanesville. We have continued to grow in numbers as well as our impact on the Kingdom of God locally and globally, and by the grace of God we will continue to grow
In 2015 our name officially changed from New Life Christian Church to Lanesville Christian Church. The change was born out of a desire to differentiate ourselves from other organizations and local congregations that shared the name “New Life”. Lanesville Christian Church is a
Bible-believing and Bible-teaching church. We desire to see people get past the man-made traditions and complicated theologies that divide us and simply know Jesus, love Jesus, and live for Jesus.

GOD
We believe God is the creator of man and all things.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit lives within every Christian empowering them
to live a holy life and equipping them with gifts for serving others.

SALVATION
We believe salvation (the forgiveness of sins) comes by grace through
the blood of Jesus Christ (His death on the cross).

1) Believe that Jesus is the Son of God and died for your sins
2) Confess Jesus as your Lord (Master)

We believe in one God-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for all matters of faith.

ETERNAL SECURITY
We believe death seals the eternal destiny of each person. The saved will inherit eternal life; the unsaved, eternal separation from God.

SIN
We believe that man, created by God and in God’s image, willfully sinned, and as a result, is lost and without hope apart from Jesus Christ.

THE CHURCH
We believe the church is the body and bride of Christ consisting of all Christians everywhere, called to declare the praises of God and fulfill the mission of making disciples of Jesus.

BAPTISM
We believe that baptism by immersion is DECLARED in scripture as the God-Ordained method for giving one’s heart to God, trusting Christ, and receiving the Holy Spirit. We acknowledge that there are circumstances where God can save people by looking at the heart. God is not bound by baptism, but we are. Therefore, to become a member of Lanesville Christian Church we require that you be immersed in baptism.
LEADERSHIP
We believe in the plurality of Elders as the New Testament model for leadership.
